Well, I am going to go with the Hennessy Ultra Lite Hammock. My put together hammock and nylon tarp worked will on the CT but I have decided to shave some wight by going with this 1.5 lb sleep system.

Hey, does anyone know what kind of North Face bivy this is? I have the opportunity to borrow it, but would like to know its weight (the guy who owns it says "about the weight of a full can of beer - that doesn't help!). I haven't been able to find it online.

I pretty much steer clear of politics and protests and such, but when I opened my Christmas present today, I found that my Ice Axe came equipped for dual purpose.
