I've never been to California, haven't been to Oregon or Washington since I was 4 years old (26 years ago)... what a cool introduction to the west coast states I'm going to get :)

Hey all, I am no expert, by far, but this year will be my 3rd try on the PCT ... injury and weather/time knocked me off before. I know the trail from the start thru the Sierras pretty well :) .. Can I get a witness that paying todays bills while saving for on-trail as well as post-trail bills is not a little daunting? I've yet to see a "how to hike a long distance trail" book that covers this topic.

Let's talk journals! Are you keeping an online journal? What tools, websites will you use to keep it updated. I have an iPhone and basic web design skills. I'd like the ability to upload pictures and text, and hopefully allow folks to leave comments..maybe Facebook integration?? Any thoughts?
